DR. ALEX ROTHMAN will present his research on Friday, April 26, 2019 in Lagomarcino Hall W142 at 12:10 pm.

Title of presentation: In pursuit of principles that are practical: Lessons learned navigating the interplay between theory and interventions to promote healthy behavior.

Dr. Rothman is a professor in the social psychology program at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Rothman’s research applies social psychological theory to illness prevention and health promotion. He is particularly interested in how people process and respond to health information. He works to develop and evaluate theory-based interventions to promote healthy behavior.
