About the certificate

The Graduate Certificate in Quantitative Psychology at Iowa State is designed for students and professionals who want to strengthen their skills in applying advanced statistical and research methods to real-world problems in psychology and related fields. In this program, you’ll gain experience in data analysis, measurement, and research design, equipping you to work with complex data and contribute to research.

Graduates of the program can pursue careers in applied research, data analysis, program evaluation, educational assessment, and research consulting, or use the skills to enhance their further graduate study in psychology, education, business, or health sciences.

Admissions

6 credits of graduate equivalent courses in Statistics (STAT 5101 and either STAT 5204 or STAT 5212, or equivalent) are required, plus 3 credits of graduate research methods in Psychology (PSYCH 5010 or equivalent). A minimum grade of B+ in all courses required for admission.

  • Certificate Program of Study form
  • Certificate Completion form. (When all requirements are met.)
