Psychology graduate student Maya Irvin-Vitela is one of this year’s recipients of the Brown Graduate Fellowship. She was nominated by Psychology Director of Graduate Education Jonathan Kelly. Dr. Kelly stated, “Maya’s interest in aggression, dark personality traits, and conduct disorder led her to develop a set of research questions for her master’s thesis, for which she plans to use data from a national multi-site longitudinal research study called the Adolescent Brain and Cognitive Development (ABCD) study. Maya’s thesis research has the potential to significantly advance our understanding of gender differences in conduct disorder and has far-reaching clinical and theoretical implications.” Well done, Maya!
