Two Psychology undergrads place 1st and 2nd in LAS Week Undergrad Research Fair
On Tuesday, February 11th the College of Liberal Arts and Science held the LAS Undergraduate Research Fair. It was open to all undergraduates in LAS. Psychology undergraduates Maria Smirnova place 1st and Tracy-Lynn Lamoreaux placed 2nd. Congratulation Maria and Tracy-Lynn!

Xander Toftness, a graduate student in cognitive psychology, gave a presentation at Reiman Gardens about optical illusions and perception on Thursday, December 12, 2019. Xander is a Reiman Garens’ 2019 Science Communication Fellow.
Ken Sufka Visits Psychology Department
Dr. Ken Sufka, an alumni of the psychology department, came to campus and gave presentations for faculty and students. The colloquium for faculty was Do Cannabinoids Have a Therapeutic Role in Medicine? Evidence from Preclinical Models of Pain and Addiction. For undergraduates, Dr. Sufka presented Getting Your College A-Game On.
