Helen tapped into her leadership potential as a cadet in Air Force ROTC. Now she aims to earn a Ph.D. in clinical psychology to work with veterans, active-duty members and their families as an advocate, researcher and therapist.
Through the Psychology Learning Community, Sydney found a sense of belonging at Iowa State. It’s one of many experiences preparing her to lead and advise her own students as a school counselor.
Zakiya’s passions include learning about human behavior, conducting research and meeting students from other cultures. At Iowa State, she’s done it all, thanks to research opportunities on campus and in North Carolina and study abroad in Greece.
Pyschology drew in Sierra because of its many career opportunities. Thanks to incredible leadership opportunities at Iowa State, she has found her career path in student affairs.
